INSPIRATION BEHIND THE BLOG

If you've found yourself here then there's a strong chance you love talking all things football as much as myself.

Throughout my life there's always been that one constant, something that always stirs passions and creates endless debates amongst friends and family alike... Football.

There aren't many things that can make you feel inclined to turn around to the stranger next to you in the pub and grab them around the shoulders, celebrating hysterically as beer hits the ceiling. I know because I'm that guy.

I was brought up a Sheffield Wednesday fan, my earliest memories been around the mid to late 90's when on the one hand we were lucky enough to see the likes of Benito Carbone and Paulo Di Canio grace the Hillsborough turf but on the other hand we had a club in decline which would inevitably end with relegation from the premier league. Fast forward almost 20 years later and it's fair to say been a Wednesday fan has had it's talking points. Whether it's been further relegations, promotions, managers or takeovers, there's not been many dull moments and that remains the case to this day.

All the above has inspired me to dip my toe into blogging. Everyone has a right to their own opinion and the beauty of football is that not everyone shares the same, which creates debates. I'll be using this platform to cover talking points, mainly from goings on at Hillsborough but also football in general.
